Healing Rain Crusade – Day 2

April 24, 2009 by

The second day of the crusade was very lovely. The choir was on stage at 6pm for praise and worship. All of a sudden there was a strong thunderstorm that resulted to a heavy down-pour. Despite this, Manga Ade Joseph one of the junior pastors in BCC and the coordinator for the night remained on stage. He was there seriously praising and worshiping God. This action of his encouraged the choir members to join him on stage to sing, pray, worship and thank God, declaring their readiness to worship and glorify the name of the Lord even under the rain or dark.

This act continued as the rain went on and on, they never gave up. After some hours, the rains finally stopped and electricity was restored. This brought rejoicing to the congregation there because they had gotten victory. All the choir members where happy and convinced that the Healing Rain has fallen on them and this gave them breakthrough in their lives.

At about 10pm after the down-pour, the coordinator prayed the closing prayer for the day and dismissed the crowd who all went home in a joyous mode. The attendance on this day stood as follows: 46 adults and 24 children.

Healing Rain Crusade – Day 1

April 21, 2009 by

The Healing Rain Crusade organized by Buea Community Church(BCC) began yesterday with a “Jesus March” at 4pm from Molyko Stadium up to the Crusade ground at Bonduma. After the opening prayer, the Aroma Choir of BCC led the crowd to praise and worship God. They also took time to minister to the people in some series of songs. After singing a hymn, the Senior Pastor of BCC, Genesis T took the lead to open the crusade with the first message on the title “Jesus is passing by Buea.” Reading from Jn4:46-54, the man of God held the crowd spell-bound with the word of God and at the end, 18adults gladly responded to the call of salvation and surrendered their lives to Jesus.

The sick were prayed for as they all put their trust in Jesus for their healing. For the first night, a total of 193 adults and 45 children were in attendance. The crusade continue today till Sunday 26th. Keep praying for Buea and Cameroon, for the winning of souls is God’s heartbeat.

BCC Celebrates 4 years of Ministry in Buea

December 15, 2008 by

The anniversary celebrations of the Buea Community Church took place from the 24-30 November, 2008 under the theme: “Higher Ground.” It was tremendous what God did in the lives His people and to the great numbers who attended each day. We saw people during this programme willingly indicating their decisions to follow Jesus. It was excellent to hear people confessing that nothing is sweeter than the presence of God. Many desired that the programme would have continued or be extended much longer. According to one of the participants, l quote, “as for me, l followed the theme of the programme, prayed very hard and I cannot deny the fact that I am experiencing higher grounds in my life.”

BCC Baptizes 9

December 10, 2008 by

Last Sunday November 30, 2008, BCC baptized 9 candidates who have demonstrated their seriousness in their personal walk with God, some of who went through a 2month Discipleship School in October and November. At the baptizing site, it was wonderful to preach a crowd of onlookers who had turned out to either fetch water or to do their laundry. Praise God, one person indicated her willingness to accept Jesus into her life for the very first time. The next baptizing comes up Sunday December 28, at 7am.

BCC launches LifesGroups

October 11, 2008 by

Growth is part of the natural life of a child and a healthy growth of a child is a great joy to its parents. As part of the church plant project, BCC is committed not only in preaching to the many who attend church services on Sundays but also, taking the Gospel from the four walls of the church building to where the people are, that is, in their homes and quarters.

It is for this reason that BCC took upon herself to launch home fellowships known as “Life Groups” last Monday Sept. 8 and Tuesday Sept. 9 at Simon and Joe’s residence situated along Paramount Hotel street in Molyko and at Ps Genesis residence behind the Chief’s house in Bonduma, Buea respectively.

2 more were launched the following week, at Mr. Lyonga’s in Upper Bonduma Village and at Ma Kale’s in Sandpit on Monday Sept. 15 and Friday Sept.19 respectively. BCC looks forward to planting the fifth today Saturday Oct. 11, at Br Alfred’s house in Clerks’ quarters. It is our prayer to see the church grow as a family through these LifeGroups.
